Terms and Conditions

Interweb Design

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the services provided by Interweb Design ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") to clients ("Client" or "you"). By engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

 

Services

Interweb Design offers professional web design and development services, including but not limited to:

Custom website design and development

Logo design

Business card and flyer design

Domain registration and hosting setup

Basic Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Email account setup

Business Starter Packs

Specific services to be provided will be outlined in a formal quote or service agreement.

 

Payment Terms

The CLIENT agrees to pay Interweb Design 50% of the total amount as a deposit before any work on the project is started on websites of R3000 or more. The other 50% of the total amount will be payable on completion and once the CLIENT is satisfied with the finished project. No project will be started until 50% of the project's given price is reflected in Interweb Design's bank account. The cost and size of each website can be found on the pricing page. If extra pages are needed for your website, you will be charged R400 per page.

 

Hosting Fee

The hosting fee is a mandatory fee to keep your website up and running on the internet. A hosting fee (as seen on the pricing page) must be paid by the last day of each month. A seven-day grace period is given for payment; after the seventh day, your website can be taken down. 

 

 

Maintenance Fee

The maintenance fee entitles you to three UPDATES to your website per month, regardless of how big or how small.  If you are not paying the monthly maintenance fee, a fee of R350 per hour will be charged for any updates needed on your website.

 

Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide all necessary content (text, images, etc.) in a timely manner.

Respond promptly to communications and approval requests.

Ensure you have the rights or licenses to use any materials provided to us.

 

Project Timeline

We will provide an estimated timeline at the start of the project. Timelines may change due to revisions, delays in content submission, or other unforeseen circumstances. Delays caused by the client may result in additional fees.

 

Revisions and Scope

Once the website is finished, changes may be made ONCE to each page of the website. If changes need to be made to a page more than once, a fee of R350 per hour will be charged for time worked on that page from the second visit onwards.

Major design or functional changes requested after approval may be treated as a new project.

 

Limitation of Liability

Interweb Design is not liable for any loss or damage (direct or indirect) resulting from the use or inability to use your website.

We are not responsible for issues arising from third-party plugins, security breaches, or content provided by the client.

 

Termination

Either party may terminate a project in writing.

Upon termination, the client agrees to pay for all completed work and expenses incurred up to that point.

All rights to incomplete work remain with Interweb Design unless otherwise agreed.


Confidentiality

We will treat all information provided by the client as confidential and will not share it with third parties except as necessary to complete the services.

 

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.

 

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.
